Compassion Games: Survival of the Kindest
The Devotion Feeds Way to Play
Let’s come together in a group in the spirit of DEVOTION. And let’s come together to FEED PEOPLE who don’t have enough food.
Many of us have a daily spiritual practice or aspire to have a consistent daily practice. Globally, in this group, let’s encourage each other to energize and synergize our daily practice. Let’s play in the Compassion Games as a COLLECTIVE dedicated to encouraging each other in our daily spiritual practice. We don't have to pray in the same way, and we don't have to chant the same sound. Practice as you are!
Now the part about feeding people - what if each day, before we begin our daily practice, we place ONE DOLLAR/ ONE EURO /ONE WHATEVER in an envelope on our “altar”. As we do our practice, that money would be charged with our love and devotion. What if each of us participating in this challenge chose to donate the money we put in the envelope to help feed people in our community who are hungry. After one month, each of us would have $30 to donate. If there were 100 of us in this challenge, and we all did it for 99 days, we will have raised almost $10,000 dollars to feed people. This practice is good for everyone. We will be encouraging each other in our spiritual practice. Organizations that feed people will receive needed resources. People around the world who are hungry, will be fed. The invisible, energetic vibration of our practice will travel in ways that we can only imagine. And we would strengthen our daily practice.
