We Are Raising the Roof
In order to hold ceremony in the high desert at Little Mesa, we need a safe place to prepare food and get out of the sun.
On August 31st, 2026, we will begin construction of the roof for the adobe building at Little Mesa. Sometime after August 15th, we anticipate that we will begin earth plastering the adobe walls. This is a community where everyone can join in. We are hoping to bring together a group of people who will lovingly apply the mud and bless this place. - Honor the original inhabitants and spiritual essence of the land and to focus on responsible community stewardship, as opposed to capitalist notions of individual land ownership.
- Preserve the land and ensure only gentle development that will maintain the natural beauty of the landscape.
- Facilitate the presence of on-going ceremony and further activate the sanctuary as a peace chamber.
- Preserve the landscape into perpetuity.
